Thorough evaluation

Psychometric assessments are part of our search process. These consider both the job and the individual. The insight they provide about the job helps define the requirements used to evaluate candidates.  We understand candidates beyond their ability to do the job; we recognize how they fit into the organization, today and in the future.  We also understand how the job fits the candidate's career vision.  Knowledge of a candidate’s personal characteristics and leadership style enables us to help clients develop a program that will get the new hire off to a successful start.

Personal involvement

Clients work with us because they know we will deliver.  They appreciate the value of our extensive search experience and our hands-on approach. We understand the recruiting process and the realities of recruiting the right candidates in your market. We personally identify, recruit and interview the candidates and present them in an easy to comprehend report that lets you recognize each candidate’s strengths. You understand how they fit, as well as any “gaps” they may have.

Coaching approach

Larry is a member of the International Coach Federation, and holds the ACC Credential. Coaching has long been used to help individuals understand themselves better. We use the same techniques to understand candidates and how well they fit the job and the organization as well as helping them understand how the role fits their career vision.

Global reach

We have current knowledge of multiple economies, markets and opportunities. Larry is President of Cornerstone International Group. Tami is its Executive Administrator. We host one of its two global headquarters (the other is in Shanghai). Every week we have conversations and discussions with a number of our global members; we have regular conference calls with our regional leaders and we lead an annual global conference. The CIG close-knit structure fosters a high level of interactivity, including sharing best practices and cross-border assignments. We understand what is happening around the world, and we can quickly respond to the requirements of our clients, wherever they are.

We are experienced

While our process, assessment tools and coaching help us evaluate and understand individuals, this is only a portion of our evaluation process. In the final analysis, it is our business experience and personal assessment skills – our ability to understand an individual’s motivations, attitudes, interests and the other circumstances that control his or her decisions – where we are most effective.
